Skills

“Skills are perishable and need renewal and lifelong commitment.”

-Motorcycle Safety Foundation

Whether you’re new to riding or an experienced rider, rider skills training could save your life.

Through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s rider skills courses, you will learn life-saving crash avoidance skills and mental strategies. There are courses for new riders, experienced riders, returning riders, three-wheel riders and advanced riders. Some motorcycle dealers offer their own classes, just make sure that they use a Motorcycle Safety Foundation curriculum.

UTAH SPORT BIKE ASSOCIATION

The Utah SBA offers an Advanced Rider Training (ART) program. ARTs are non-competitive, track-based classes that teach motorcycle control, proficiency and smoothness by providing lots of hands-on track time and high-quality, individual instruction. The classes are meant to be an unintimidating introduction to spirited riding in the safest possible environment, and a place to take your riding skills to the next level. These classes will not allow you to waive the skills test portion of your Utah motorcycle endorsement.
